SCHOOL SUPPLIES for Watermark Missions!

For the next two weeks we will collecting school supplies for our sister church, Watermark, in Troutman, NC. They use these school supplies as a part of their school outreach program at the beginning of the school year. The supplies are distributed to children during the Open Houses at the schools in the Troutman area. Watermark has a great opportunity to reach children and their families, and the supplies you provide are a critical part of this program! There are specials each week at most office supply stores, and stores like Walgreens and CVS too. Shop the specials and load up with your limits, and bring them with you to church and put them in the action packer in the entrance hallway.
For more information about Watermark, visit their website:

On Sunday, August 15, following Re:Creation, some of our people put their faith into action! See the video edit below. Thanks Jeremy H for making this video happen!

"Weekend @ THE PARK" Service Projects

On Saturday, July 31st, we reached out to the people of our community through several service projects. These were home improvement projects, and prayer ministry at the Winston-Salem bus station. Video can be seen below.

Rice and Water for Haiti

On Sunday, January 17th, the people of The Park began collecting Rice and Water to ship to Haiti. Last Spring, we shipped a container full of rice and beans to Haiti following the flood devastation to the island country. As a church, we have sent numerous mission teams to Haiti, including some of our teenagers! This recent response to the earthquake is part of a continuing effort to show the love to Jesus to the people of Haiti. We will load this food and water onto the truck on Monday, January 25th, at 4:30pm.

The Rice and Water Leave for Haiti!

On Monday, January 25, 2010, the good people of College Park, and friends from the community gathered at The Park to load the Rice and Water that had been collected for the relief effort in Haiti. Conservative estimates place the totals at 4.5 tons of rice and 6.5 tons of water. Great work! Video is linked below:
